On Thursday morning just a few blocks up the road on Excel Parkway, council colleague Ivan Hughes joined me and our partners with the Metrocrest Chamber of Commerce for a ribbon cutting at another medical related business.
CTL Medical moved into 25,000 feet of spectacular space at 4550 Excel Parkway just a few months ago after having been in two previous Addison locations and growing from 5,000 feet in their most recent location on Quorum.
CTL designs, develops and manufactures spinal implants and instruments tailored to fit the unique needs of surgeons and patients.
Following the ribbon cutting ceremony and inspirational comments from CEO Daniel Chon, our group received an impressive tour of their entire facility.
Along the way we met their senior management team as well as many of the 75 folks that are part of this organization made up of so many passionate people.
The very specialized equipment and remarkable attention to detail required in the design and manufacturing of these very precise spinal implants and instruments, combined with the obvious deep commitment from the organization, is focused on helping surgeons improve patient experiences and render successful outcomes for what are obviously very critical, often lifesaving surgeries.
Daniel let us know how much he loves Addison and said that ever since he graduated from UT in Austin several years ago he has been drawn to Addison. His Addison pride shows!
